From the frequent “talks too much” marks on her report cards to the years spent competing in impromptu speaking, Lara Zuehlke has been telling stories for as long as she can remember.
Over the past 20 years since, Lara has the led strategic planning and execution of award-winning programs for organizations—ranging from universities and non-profits to privately held companies and Fortune 500 firms representing a wide variety of industries. Today, she serves as Director of Content at Pierpont Communications, where she works with B2B and B2C organizations to help craft and share their unique brand stories—and tell those stories through myriad channels. Prior to establishing the content practice at Pierpont, Lara managed a diverse portfolio of PR, marketing, and media relations accounts representing nearly $1 million in annual revenue.

With a deep background in personal development (she's an ENFJ), Lara has also spent more than 17 years developing and delivering training and presentations for numerous workshops, conferences, and classes. Her training and presentations include: brand storytelling, content strategy, creative writing, and leading creative teams.
Lara earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism from Texas A&M University in 1997. Over the years, Lara’s creative work has garnered numerous awards and honors for writing, marketing/branding, and magazine editorial. In 2015, Lara was named the Gene Barnwell Waugh Mentor of the Year by Women Communicators of Austin. In addition, Lara has completed certifications as an energy practitioner and coach with ISEE Global in 2008, and in 2010, Lara earned a food psychology coaching certification from the Spencer Institute. Lara is the author of an e-book, Tipping the Scale. She's also currently in production on her first novel, which will be released in mid-2017.
